In 2003 a group of like-minded skaters happened upon a previously untapped source of skateboarding history that is slide skating, an unusual technique developed in, and largely confined to 1970s California.

This DVD follows the Castle Hill Mob from UK shores to the Berkeley Hills in California,explaining the development of new styles and techniques and showcasing the raw and unique talent nurtured by Cornwall's undulating topography. Using this landscape as their canvas, and taking inspiration from their downhill forefathers, they have developed tricks and manoeuvres never seen before in skateboarding, and aim to bring downhill freestyle to the mainstream.
