Why we started: Our dedication to sliding
Back in the summer of 2002 we started to get into this
slide thing and rapidly realised the lack of boards and
equipment available for the job. So we started to develop
our own and pilot them in a local Skate shop-Random Rides.
Our skateboard designs became more informed and better
developed as our skating grew and blossomed and before
we new it we were swapping decks for new wheels so that
we could keep sliding. Skateboarding became a lot cheaper
for us and the sport of sliding began to blossom in the
UK.
Faltown Skateboards is 100% committed to the progression
and development of Downhill Freestyle (sliding). We aim
to push the boundaries of sliding to help us keep producing
well-informed, well-designed products dedicated for skateboarding.
